Fast home internet in
Novato, CA

U-wifi Home Unlimited is $55 a month anywhere we're live in Novato, whether you're in Hamilton Field, Bel Marin Keys or out by Ignacio. The next-gen gateway, two-day shipping and your first 30 days are free, and there's no contract. Or pay nothing at all with FreeU: watch ads you choose in the U-wifi app and earn credit toward your bill.

Every U-wifi customer in Novato can switch on FreeU inside the U-wifi app. Our Choice Advertising model lets you pick the ads you see, and watching them earns credit against your monthly service. Watch enough and the $55 is covered. Keep watching past that and you earn U-Bonus points toward merchandise in the U-store. Same gateway, same unlimited data, same speeds.

Wired speeds in Novato vary widely by street and neighborhood. Some blocks have fiber, others have older cable, and many homes in the hills and open space areas have limited options. Your U-wifi gateway connects to the best available carrier signal at your address, and speeds depend on local tower capacity and distance. U-wifi doesn't tie you to one network. Our gateway picks the strongest 5G signal at your address across the major national carriers and switches if a better one appears, so you get the best speed available in your part of Novato at any given hour. For the best signal, put the gateway near a window on the highest floor, facing the nearest tower.

Wildfire season, public safety power shutoffs, and winter atmospheric rivers are the main risks in Novato and the North Bay. Because U-wifi runs on multiple carrier networks instead of a single wired line, if one tower goes down your gateway shifts to the next available signal. During a major wildfire or planned shutoff, service depends on carrier tower power and backup systems. If the towers in your area lose power, your internet will go down, but you're not waiting on a single provider to restore a damaged cable line once conditions improve.

Yes. Apartments and condos around Hamilton Field and near Novato Downtown station get the same plug-and-play setup as single-family homes, no landlord permission required. The gateway plugs into any outlet and works best near a window. No drilling, no antennas on the roof and nothing to remove when you move out. The gateway's wifi covers a typical 2,500 square foot home and supports up to 256 devices, so a one-bedroom or a shared house is fine.

Enter your Novato address to confirm coverage, order, and the gateway arrives within two days. Plug it in, find the U-wifi network on your phone or laptop, and enter the password printed on the bottom of the gateway. That's the whole install. No technician, no appointment window, and your first 30 days are a free trial.

Pack the gateway, plug it in at the new address and connect as usual. Then sign in to your U-wifi account and update your address. Nothing to return, nothing to reschedule, and the price stays the same.

U-wifi is live across Novato and in San Rafael, Petaluma and Richmond. Enter your address to confirm availability at your home. If you're on the edge of coverage, the gateway also supports an external antenna for weaker 5G areas.
