Fast home internet in
Tinley Park, IL

U-wifi Home Unlimited is $55 a month anywhere we're live in Tinley Park, whether you're in Orland Park, Oak Forest or out by Mokena. The next-gen gateway, two-day shipping and your first 30 days are free, and there's no contract. Or pay nothing at all with FreeU: watch ads you choose in the U-wifi app and earn credit toward your bill.

Every U-wifi customer in Tinley Park can switch on FreeU inside the U-wifi app. Our Choice Advertising model lets you pick the ads you see, and watching them earns credit against your monthly service. Watch enough and the $55 is covered. Keep watching past that and you earn U-Bonus points toward merchandise in the U-store. Same gateway, same unlimited data, same speeds.

Wired internet speeds in Tinley Park vary widely by street and neighborhood, depending on which provider has run lines and how old the infrastructure is. Tower-based speeds depend on signal strength at your address and the carrier network your gateway selects. U-wifi doesn't tie you to one network. Our gateway picks the strongest 5G signal at your address across the major national carriers and switches if a better one appears, so you get the best speed available in your part of Tinley Park at any given hour. For the best signal, put the gateway near a window on the highest floor, facing the nearest tower.

Tinley Park sits in an area that sees spring tornadoes and winter ice storms, both of which can knock out power and damage infrastructure. Because U-wifi runs on multiple carrier networks instead of a single cable line, if one tower goes down your gateway shifts to the next available signal. During a major storm or severe weather event, service depends on carrier tower power and whether the towers themselves remain operational.

Yes. Apartment and townhome clusters around Orland Square Mall and along the Metra corridor connect the same way single-family homes do. The gateway plugs into any outlet and works best near a window. No drilling, no antennas on the roof and nothing to remove when you move out. The gateway's wifi covers a typical 2,500 square foot home and supports up to 256 devices, so a one-bedroom or a shared house is fine.

Enter your Tinley Park address to confirm coverage, order, and the gateway arrives within two days. Plug it in, find the U-wifi network on your phone or laptop, and enter the password printed on the bottom of the gateway. That's the whole install. No technician, no appointment window, and your first 30 days are a free trial.

Pack the gateway, plug it in at the new address and connect as usual. Then sign in to your U-wifi account and update your address. Nothing to return, nothing to reschedule, and the price stays the same.

U-wifi is live across Tinley Park and in Orland Park, Oak Lawn and Calumet City. Enter your address to confirm availability at your home. If you're on the edge of coverage, the gateway also supports an external antenna for weaker 5G areas.
