Fast home internet in
Kenner, LA

U-wifi Home Unlimited is $55 a month anywhere we're live in Kenner, whether you're in Lafreniere Park, River Ridge or out by Metairie. The next-gen gateway, two-day shipping and your first 30 days are free, and there's no contract. Or pay nothing at all with FreeU: watch ads you choose in the U-wifi app and earn credit toward your bill.

Every U-wifi customer in Kenner can switch on FreeU inside the U-wifi app. Our Choice Advertising model lets you pick the ads you see, and watching them earns credit against your monthly service. Watch enough and the $55 is covered. Keep watching past that and you earn U-Bonus points toward merchandise in the U-store. Same gateway, same unlimited data, same speeds.

Wired speeds in Kenner vary by street and neighborhood, depending on which lines reach your block. U-wifi delivers true broadband over whichever carrier network is strongest at your address, with no throttling and no data cap. U-wifi doesn't tie you to one network. Our gateway picks the strongest 5G signal at your address across the major national carriers and switches if a better one appears, so you get the best speed available in your part of Kenner at any given hour. For the best signal, put the gateway near a window on the highest floor, facing the nearest tower.

Hurricanes and Gulf storms bring flooding and long wired outages to the New Orleans metro. Because U-wifi connects to multiple carrier towers instead of a single cable line, if one network goes down your gateway fails over to the next available signal automatically. During a major storm, service depends on carrier tower power and backup systems. You're not stuck waiting on one provider to restore a flooded line, but we can't promise uninterrupted service when towers lose commercial power.

Yes. Apartments and condos around The Esplanade and near Ochsner Medical Center, Kenner often have limited wired options; a plug-and-play gateway solves that. The gateway plugs into any outlet and works best near a window. No drilling, no antennas on the roof and nothing to remove when you move out. The gateway's wifi covers a typical 2,500 square foot home and supports up to 256 devices, so a one-bedroom or a shared house is fine.

Enter your Kenner address to confirm coverage, order, and the gateway arrives within two days. Plug it in, find the U-wifi network on your phone or laptop, and enter the password printed on the bottom of the gateway. That's the whole install. No technician, no appointment window, and your first 30 days are a free trial.

Pack the gateway, plug it in at the new address and connect as usual. Then sign in to your U-wifi account and update your address. Nothing to return, nothing to reschedule, and the price stays the same.

U-wifi is live across Kenner and in New Orleans and Baton Rouge. Enter your address to confirm availability at your home. If you're on the edge of coverage, the gateway also supports an external antenna for weaker 5G areas.
