Fast home internet in
Methuen, MA

U-wifi Home Unlimited is $55 a month anywhere we're live in Methuen, whether you're in Pleasant, High Historic District, Greycourt State Park or out by Lawrence. The next-gen gateway, two-day shipping and your first 30 days are free, and there's no contract. Or pay nothing at all with FreeU: watch ads you choose in the U-wifi app and earn credit toward your bill.

Every U-wifi customer in Methuen can switch on FreeU inside the U-wifi app. Our Choice Advertising model lets you pick the ads you see, and watching them earns credit against your monthly service. Watch enough and the $55 is covered. Keep watching past that and you earn U-Bonus points toward merchandise in the U-store. Same gateway, same unlimited data, same speeds.

Wired speeds in Methuen vary by street and neighborhood, depending on which provider built out your block. U-wifi delivers true broadband over 5G, with speeds shaped by your distance to the tower and the carrier signal at your address. U-wifi doesn't tie you to one network. Our gateway picks the strongest 5G signal at your address across the major national carriers and switches if a better one appears, so you get the best speed available in your part of Methuen at any given hour. For the best signal, put the gateway near a window on the highest floor, facing the nearest tower.

Nor'easters and winter storms are the main weather risks in Methuen, bringing heavy snow, ice and wind that can knock out power and infrastructure. Because U-wifi runs on multiple carrier networks instead of a single cable line, if one tower goes down your gateway shifts to the next available one. During a major storm, service depends on carrier tower power and backup systems, but you're not waiting on a single provider to send a truck.

Yes. Methuen has apartment and multi-family buildings around the Arlington, Basswood Historic District and near Central Catholic High School where a plug-and-play gateway beats waiting for a service appointment. The gateway plugs into any outlet and works best near a window. No drilling, no antennas on the roof and nothing to remove when you move out. The gateway's wifi covers a typical 2,500 square foot home and supports up to 256 devices, so a one-bedroom or a shared house is fine.

Enter your Methuen address to confirm coverage, order, and the gateway arrives within two days. Plug it in, find the U-wifi network on your phone or laptop, and enter the password printed on the bottom of the gateway. That's the whole install. No technician, no appointment window, and your first 30 days are a free trial.

Pack the gateway, plug it in at the new address and connect as usual. Then sign in to your U-wifi account and update your address. Nothing to return, nothing to reschedule, and the price stays the same.

U-wifi is live across Methuen and in Lawrence, Haverhill and Lowell. Enter your address to confirm availability at your home. If you're on the edge of coverage, the gateway also supports an external antenna for weaker 5G areas.
