Fast home internet in
Farmington Hills, MI

U-wifi Home Unlimited is $55 a month anywhere we're live in Farmington Hills, whether you're in Farmington Historic District, Twelve Oaks Mall or out by Schoolcraft College. The next-gen gateway, two-day shipping and your first 30 days are free, and there's no contract. Or pay nothing at all with FreeU: watch ads you choose in the U-wifi app and earn credit toward your bill.

Every U-wifi customer in Farmington Hills can switch on FreeU inside the U-wifi app. Our Choice Advertising model lets you pick the ads you see, and watching them earns credit against your monthly service. Watch enough and the $55 is covered. Keep watching past that and you earn U-Bonus points toward merchandise in the U-store. Same gateway, same unlimited data, same speeds.

Wired speeds in Farmington Hills vary by street and neighborhood, depending on which provider built out your block and when. Tower-based speeds depend on your distance from the nearest 5G site and the carrier signal strength at your address. U-wifi doesn't tie you to one network. Our gateway picks the strongest 5G signal at your address across the major national carriers and switches if a better one appears, so you get the best speed available in your part of Farmington Hills at any given hour. For the best signal, put the gateway near a window on the highest floor, facing the nearest tower.

Farmington Hills sees lake-effect snow and ice storms every winter, and a single cable line can go down when a branch falls or a pole ices over. Because U-wifi runs on multiple carrier networks instead of one fixed line, if one tower loses signal your gateway shifts to the next available one. During a major winter storm, service depends on carrier tower power and backup systems, but you're not waiting on a single provider to send a truck.

Yes. Apartments and condos near Twelve Oaks Mall, Novi Town Center, and Schoolcraft College get the same plug-and-play setup with no landlord permission required. The gateway plugs into any outlet and works best near a window. No drilling, no antennas on the roof and nothing to remove when you move out. The gateway's wifi covers a typical 2,500 square foot home and supports up to 256 devices, so a one-bedroom or a shared house is fine.

Enter your Farmington Hills address to confirm coverage, order, and the gateway arrives within two days. Plug it in, find the U-wifi network on your phone or laptop, and enter the password printed on the bottom of the gateway. That's the whole install. No technician, no appointment window, and your first 30 days are a free trial.

Pack the gateway, plug it in at the new address and connect as usual. Then sign in to your U-wifi account and update your address. Nothing to return, nothing to reschedule, and the price stays the same.

U-wifi is live across Farmington Hills and in Novi, Livonia and Southfield. Enter your address to confirm availability at your home. If you're on the edge of coverage, the gateway also supports an external antenna for weaker 5G areas.
