Fast home internet in
Elyria, OH

U-wifi Home Unlimited is $55 a month anywhere we're live in Elyria, whether you're in North Ridgeville, Elyria Township or out by Lorain. The next-gen gateway, two-day shipping and your first 30 days are free, and there's no contract. Or pay nothing at all with FreeU: watch ads you choose in the U-wifi app and earn credit toward your bill.

Every U-wifi customer in Elyria can switch on FreeU inside the U-wifi app. Our Choice Advertising model lets you pick the ads you see, and watching them earns credit against your monthly service. Watch enough and the $55 is covered. Keep watching past that and you earn U-Bonus points toward merchandise in the U-store. Same gateway, same unlimited data, same speeds.

Wired internet speeds in Elyria vary widely by street and provider footprint. U-wifi delivers true broadband over 5G, and your actual speed depends on which carrier has the strongest signal at your address and the time of day. U-wifi doesn't tie you to one network. Our gateway picks the strongest 5G signal at your address across the major national carriers and switches if a better one appears, so you get the best speed available in your part of Elyria at any given hour. For the best signal, put the gateway near a window on the highest floor, facing the nearest tower.

Elyria sees ice storms in winter and spring tornadoes that can knock out power and damage infrastructure. Because U-wifi connects to multiple carrier networks instead of a single cable line, your gateway automatically fails over to the next available tower if one goes down. During a major storm, service depends on carrier tower power and backup systems, but you're not waiting on one provider to restore a damaged line. Multi-carrier failover keeps you online when one network drops.

Yes. Apartment buildings around Lorain County Community College and older multifamily blocks near Midway Mall get the same plug-and-play setup as single-family homes. The gateway plugs into any outlet and works best near a window. No drilling, no antennas on the roof and nothing to remove when you move out. The gateway's wifi covers a typical 2,500 square foot home and supports up to 256 devices, so a one-bedroom or a shared house is fine.

Enter your Elyria address to confirm coverage, order, and the gateway arrives within two days. Plug it in, find the U-wifi network on your phone or laptop, and enter the password printed on the bottom of the gateway. That's the whole install. No technician, no appointment window, and your first 30 days are a free trial.

Pack the gateway, plug it in at the new address and connect as usual. Then sign in to your U-wifi account and update your address. Nothing to return, nothing to reschedule, and the price stays the same.

U-wifi is live across Elyria and in Lorain, Strongsville and Lakewood. Enter your address to confirm availability at your home. If you're on the edge of coverage, the gateway also supports an external antenna for weaker 5G areas.
