Fast home internet in
Carrollton, TX

U-wifi Home Unlimited is $55 a month anywhere we're live in Carrollton, whether you're in Trinity Mills, Addison or out by Farmers Branch. The next-gen gateway, two-day shipping and your first 30 days are free, and there's no contract. Or pay nothing at all with FreeU: watch ads you choose in the U-wifi app and earn credit toward your bill.

Every U-wifi customer in Carrollton can switch on FreeU inside the U-wifi app. Our Choice Advertising model lets you pick the ads you see, and watching them earns credit against your monthly service. Watch enough and the $55 is covered. Keep watching past that and you earn U-Bonus points toward merchandise in the U-store. Same gateway, same unlimited data, same speeds.

Speeds in Carrollton depend on which carrier has the strongest tower signal at your address and how far you are from that tower. Performance varies by neighborhood and even by street, but the gateway always picks the best available network. U-wifi doesn't tie you to one network. Our gateway picks the strongest 5G signal at your address across the major national carriers and switches if a better one appears, so you get the best speed available in your part of Carrollton at any given hour. For the best signal, put the gateway near a window on the highest floor, facing the nearest tower.

Carrollton sits far enough inland that Gulf hurricanes arrive weakened, but the city still sees hail, ice storms, and severe weather that can knock out power and damage wired lines. Because U-wifi runs on multiple carrier networks, if one tower goes down your gateway shifts to another. During a major storm, service depends on carrier tower power and backup systems, but you're not waiting on a single cable company to restore your block.

Yes. Apartment-heavy areas like Trinity Mills near the station and Addison around Vitruvian Park get plug-and-play service with no landlord permission required. The gateway plugs into any outlet and works best near a window. No drilling, no antennas on the roof and nothing to remove when you move out. The gateway's wifi covers a typical 2,500 square foot home and supports up to 256 devices, so a one-bedroom or a shared house is fine.

Enter your Carrollton address to confirm coverage, order, and the gateway arrives within two days. Plug it in, find the U-wifi network on your phone or laptop, and enter the password printed on the bottom of the gateway. That's the whole install. No technician, no appointment window, and your first 30 days are a free trial.

Pack the gateway, plug it in at the new address and connect as usual. Then sign in to your U-wifi account and update your address. Nothing to return, nothing to reschedule, and the price stays the same.

U-wifi is live across Carrollton and in Coppell, Lewisville and Richardson. Enter your address to confirm availability at your home. If you're on the edge of coverage, the gateway also supports an external antenna for weaker 5G areas.
